There is no question that there is a considerable degree of talent on hand at Lake Forest Academy in Lake Forest, IL, including 6'10 Angus Brandt, who is one of the top unsigned prospects in Illinois from the class of 2009, and 6'3 Drake University recruit David Smith.  However, we believe that the most intriguing prospect at the school is Remy Ndiaye, a 6'6 class of 2010 wing.

Ndiaye has only been playing organized basketball for a couple of years and is in his first year at Lake Forest Academy, having come to the school from Africa.  However, once you have seen him play you come away from the gym thinking that he is a seasoned veteran.

While Ndiaye currently does not start at Lake Forest Academy, he has been impressive all season long coming off the bench, and such was the case yet again when we watched him in action versus Lake Forest.  Simply put, Ndiaye has a huge up side and we believe that his potential is unlimited.

Not only is Ndiaye highly athletic, but above everything else he has a great feel for the game.  He has superb ball handling and passing skills and makes good decisions with the ball.  Although his shooting remains a bit streaky, he has shown that he has legitimate 3-point range and he does not take bad shots.  All in all, we see outstanding versatility in Ndiaye and a player who has the ability to play multiple positions on the floor.

Despite the fact that Ndiaye has been very much under the radar amongst various talent evaluators, plenty of D1 coaches already know who he is and are trying to make him a recruiting priority in the 2010 class.  Schools that are already showing considerable interest in Ndiaye include Tulsa, Northwestern and Georgia Tech among others.  From what we have seen, there is no doubt in our mind that Ndiaye's best days are ahead of him.
